I have every sympathy for the couple , I hope the issue is dealt with quickly and they are returned safetly, and my thoughts are with them and their family and friends. That said, am I one of the few who asks what an earth they were doing sailing in what.

I agree with most of this , although I am concerned about the issue of not employing relatives. Notwithstanding the issue of employment contracts, many MP's find having spouses working for them very helpful to their marriage and well-being. MP's..
